We’re here to support the community and in particular local businesses transition to be Plastic Free ♻️
In 2017, as part of a Plastic Free July initiative, The Cronulla Chamber of Commerce and Surfrider Foundation Cronulla began the push for plastic free by surveying locals and businesses about their use of single-use plastic bags. Overwhelmingly, the results told us that business and consumer groups support the move to be single-use plastic free.
For the last 2 years the Cronulla Chamber of Commerce, we have been working Surfrider Foundation Cronulla, to gain support to transition Cronulla to becoming single-use, plastic free.
Throughout this journey, we gained the support of Carmelo Pesce, Mark Speakman, Sutherland Shire Council and now Scott Morrison (ScoMo) the Prime Minister and local community groups to make Cronulla a plastic free community ♻️
Stayed tuned to for more updates on this exciting initiative.
